At SUNEL Group, we believe that infrastructure should serve something greater than utility. It should carry meaning, preserve legacy, and shape the future. On May 26, 2025, that belief came to life with the official inauguration of the VIP Legends Suites at SUNEL Arena.

In the Faidon Konstantoudakis Press Room, our CEO Mr. Konstantinos Zygouras addressed the audience, describing the project as “a gesture of respect towards those who wrote their own chapter in AEK’s history, and towards the stadium itself, which is now entering a new identity.”

Delivered by SUNEL Group with the support of AEK Betsson BC, the new VIP Legends Suites feature elegant design, modern infrastructure, and premium hospitality. These suites were created not only for basketball fans but also to serve as high-quality venues for corporate events, concerts, and cultural activities, reflecting SUNEL Arena’s new role as a multi-purpose destination.

The ceremony honored eight iconic figures who shaped the history and spirit of AEK: Giorgos Amerikanos, Giorgos Trontzos, Christos Zoupas, Stelios Vasileiadis, Aias Laretzakis, Giorgos Moschos, Minas Gekos, and Dragan Sakota. Their names now define the renovated suites and serve as a tribute to values like commitment, humility, and excellence.

The event included speeches by honored individuals and family members of those no longer with us, followed by a gathering in the VIP Lounge Area and a guided tour of the Legends Suites.
